For seven years, we have visited this restaurant for afternoon dessert. It is on the site of Grey Monk Winery but owned by a separate person, who is also the chef. His name is Willy.
Over and over again, we have felt that the view is beautiful but the staff make you feel as if you are a pain in the neck. It is a bit like a hospital that would run so much better if only there were no patients.
It seems as if service has declined in parallel with the self-satisfaction and greed of the owner. Visit Grey Monk, taste the wines, but pass on the restaurant. That would be my advice.
