Spent night 3 of our Calgary to Vancouver road trip in June/July in this exceptional B&B. We have stayed in B&B's all over the world and this would rank as one of the most pleasing, comfortable and welcoming. We occupied 2 bedrooms (there were three of us) and had a bathroom to share. Everything worked, was top quality and the entire establishment was spotlessly clean. Nora and Roger were excellent hosts and we appreciated the welcoming tea and cake, and also the availability of drinks in the fridge in the common lounge area. And our b'fast was superb. Something a bit different prepared and served with thought and care obviously. Wi-fi worked well, and if you don't have your own computer, there is one available for guest use. Garden and flowering plants (it was mid-summer) all wonderfully cared for and beautifully kept.
We can't relate too much about Kamloops, as we were literally 'passing through' but in our brief drive around the town found it pleasant enough. We had a superb evening meal at the restaurant on the golf course, on which Wedgewood is also located. It offered a great menu, and was not too expensive - our hosts recommended it to us and we can, in turn, thoroughly recommend it. All in all - worth staying here on the Jasper-Vancouver run, if only for the experience of staying in such a wonderful B&B and breaking the journey with a great (non fast food) meal!
