“Beautiful house and bedroom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

This was one of the nicest houses we stayed at on our recent trip to Canada. Not only was our bedroom and ensuite so clean and well appointed we also have a wonderful lounge to use with comfy sofas and use of fridge with soft drinks and tea and coffee making facilities, music, etc. etc. It is situated in a fairly new development surrounded by a golf course.

Nora and Roger were excellent hosts and we had a really good breakfast and set us up for the day.

The only negative thing is we did not think much of Kamloops itself but it was just a stopping off point on our way from Jasper to Vancouver.

Room Tip: Try to book the King room - wow

Nora and Roger were great hosts! The place is spotless and spacious. The rooms are bright and airy. The ensuite in the main bedroom was pretty amazing. The lounge area had tea, coffee and soft drinks and was very comfortable and we had a dozen fresh baked ginger cookies baked for our arrival. We even got the recipe!
The breakfast was great too. Fresh fruit followed by baked ommelet, fresh juices and coffee. The homemade lemon and raspberry muffins finished off a delightful stay.
The Wedgewood is located not far from the highway but is set in the hills and is extremely quiet. A great spot if you are traveling through.
The town centre is only a short 10 minute drive away to find dinner. Wedgewood is Highly recommended.
Thanks again Nora and Roger

We booked the Wedgewood for our stopover on our way to Jasper and a second night on the way back to vancouver - and we loved it. It is worth staying longer, not only for a stopover. Our room - the Main Queen - was very nice and spacious, so was the bathroom. Everything was very clean.
Nora makes a delicious breakfast, with choices of fresh juice, delicious fruits and a great hot meal, like pancakes. Nora and Roger are really nice hosts.
The B&B is situated in a very nice and quiet area. Kamploops can only be reached by car, but there are enough parking lots in town.

My wife and I stayed for one night in June on the way from Jasper to Whistler. We had a ground floor queen room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The house itself is immaculate and in a quiet location. The WiFi is also free. Excellent breakfast and first class hosts. Downtown Kamloops is easy to get to where there is a good choice of restaurants. Kamloops is basically a small city, which we found ideal as a one night stopover as part of our road trip, but would not be inclined to stay longer than that. Would recommend this B & B and stay again.

We stayed one night here in the beautiful King room with a massive ensuite. What a treat with good pillows, quality sheets and towels and a comfortable, well equipped, guest lounge shared by the 3 guest rooms. So much care has been taken making this B&B outstanding and the hosts, Nora and Roger provide one of the best breakfasts we had in Canada! Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kamloops. Also, the restaurant at the golf club, a few minutes walk from Wedgewood serves a very good meal and Nora willingly made a reservation for us.

Room Tip: We loved the King room - roomy with a fabulous bathroom.

We had an absolutely delightful stay with Roger and Nora. We took the main floor queen bedroom which was lovely and spacious and also had a decent-sized ensuite shower room. The whole place was spotless and very comfortable. The communal area upstairs was lovely to relax in after a long day's drive. The free WiFi worked perfectly too. Breakfast was a real highlight and Nora's raspberry muffins were just the best ever. Set us up for a day in Wells Gray Provincial Park. The only slight downside is the location set somewhat out of town. However the wonderful more than compensates for this. I would definitely go back.

Like most other tourists we only stayed one night in Kamloops as we drove down from Jasper to Vancouver. We chose the Wedgewood B&B as our stopover and we were only saddened by the fact that we were not there longer. Not only is Kamloops much bigger and more bustling than we expected or had been told, the Wedgewood was stunning. This accommodation is truly five star. Everything about it has been done to a very high standard and the hosts are lovely. The breakfast was first class as was the whole experience. Would highly recommend this as the place to stay in Kamloops and the rating of number 1 is well deserved.

Room Tip: This accommodation does not do bad rooms, just go there.
