We had one dinner in the Copper Room recently as part of a "Senior's Package" stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa. This stay was one of a good many at the resort, and to its Copper Room dining room. But the dinner at the Copper Room this time did stand out as one of our most-enjoyed.
We dine early, and this time was not an exception - our reservation was made for 6pm, and we, and a good many others were there at/or just before the doors to the dining room opened. We prefer to dine before the music and dancing.
As we have always done (when staying on a 'package' deal), we ordered from the 'Package' menu -- a 3-course dinner, with three choices of soup/salad, entree, and dessert. We all all started with the mixed-lettuce-green salad. For entrees, the ladies had the veal shank (Italian-style, with a tomato-based sauce, and flavours), and I opted for the pork tenderloin. The portions were large, and we thought well-prepared, and very tasty -- and each was accompanied by a flavourful potato preparation (mashed with the shanks), scalloped (with the tenderloin), and a selection of veggies (asparagus 'sticks' and new carrots). For dessert, we all enjoyed the very sweet and 'yummy' cheesecake offering.
Dining/eating like this is what (for us) we would always refer to as a 'treat' dinner, and this was one we much-enjoyed, and there was very little left on our plates to indicate otherwise.
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Copper Room during this stay at the Resort ... it really contributed to our stay!!
