We booked the majority of our out of town wedding party and family into the Harrison Heritage House and I was wowed from day one. The owners were open and friendly and went way above and beyond to make the whole process easy for me to make group bookings and individual bookings. When we arrived, I just fell in love with the beauty and overall feeling of the Harrison Heritage House. Everything was clean, the gardens were spectacular and everyone felt incredibly welcome and comfortable. Other guests were staying in four - five other properties in Harrison Hot Springs and nothing even came close to comparing to the beauty, warmth and comfort of the Harrison Heritage House. I will heartily recommend this property to anyone who will listen - this was a fantastic place to stay and we will suggest it to our family who come in from our of town from now on.

This is the best B&B we've been to in a very long time. It was quiet, relaxing, cozy, very clean and neat.
Having our own entrance was great because we could come and go without feeling like we were bothering anyone. The grounds were neat and very well groomed. Being only a block away from the beach and from shops was also a bonus. A great place to go anytime of the year. We're looking forward to next year already.

We recently travelled to Harrison Hot Springs for a last-minute long weekend getaway. We brought my 9 year old son and his friend. It was by luck that there was a cancellation and I was able to book the Willow Kottage only days before our trip. Compared to the local hotels, the price was excellent, and the pix of the property on the website looked great. Let me tell you that our choice to stay here did not disappoint in any way. Less than two hours away from our home we found a little bit of paradise. The Harrison Heritage House & Kottage was absolutely perfect. I will admit that I am very particular and have high standards where comfort, decore and cleanliness is concerned. We arrived to a warm and friendly greeting by Sonya and were able to check in early to our little Kottage. It is so charming! It was a great size for four of us. The main bedroom with the queen bed is very pretty and not what you'd expect in a Kottage rental. The bed was very comfortable (hard to find - even in 4 & 5 star hotels!) and the linens were high quality like what you'd have at home. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise, a very large soaker tub (nice!!) and so very clean. There is a small but functional kitchenette, perfect for our length of stay. There is a nice large kitchen table and chairs to sit and enjoy your meals. Most places have just a small two-seater table. There was a lovely fireplace, small tv, couch and chair for relaxation at night. A set of (very steep) stairs leads up to a bedroom with two single beds - perfect for the boys. If I were to change anything though, I would stay that the stairs are too narrow and too steep. The grounds of the Harrison Heritage House are very well kept and the gardens are spectacular. Swing on the tree swing and look out onto the water, or if you are with kids like we were, take advantage of the private little basketball court. Check out their pond with the relaxing sound of the water feature and plenty of koi fish swimming around. As soon as we arrived, I knew without a doubt that we'd be back sans kids for a romantic weekend.

The Kottage is literally a two minute walk to the beach and the main strip of shops. We all loved this place and plan to make a yearly visit to Harrison and to stay at this same location. It is a great choice for both families and couples. As you can tell, I highly recommend it.

We just returned from a fabulous 4 night stay at Harrison Heritage House & Kottage. We booked into Cedar Kottage which was perfect for our family of 4, including a 2.5yr old and 6 month old. The weather was miserable during our stay but the kottage and beautiful grounds more than made up for it. The deep tub (and complimentary bubble bath!), cozy gas fireplece, TV/DVD and well equipped kitchen and communal BBQ were definitely appreciated. Our toddler loved the tire swing, watching dad shoot hoops and feeding the fish in the Coi pond. Canoes were also available for use but due to the weather and the age of our little ones we didn't take advantage.
The location was fantastic - minutes by foot to the beach, cafes, ice cream shop, liquor and convenience stores. Even though it was centrally located it was really quite.
Grocery selection in Harrison is limited and can be pricey so I would recommend either stocking up at home or stopping at the SuperValu in Agassiz (8 km away) on your way in.
We will definitley be making a return visit.

My husband and I stayed at the Harrison Heritage House in July. This is our fifth visit to the Heritage house. We love it there! We stayed in the Naismith Retreat room. Probably our favourite room. The room is cozy and comfortable, has a nice big soaker bath tub and a very comfy bed. The breakfasts are delicious! This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast because the house and rooms are very comfy and nicely decorated, it is quiet and private but located right in town. I highly recommend this B and B.
