“Great addition to downtown.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

I'm thrilled with what they've done with Harvest, it's a very kitsch place to hang out and have coffee, and the staff are very friendly, owners are nice. I'm not overly thrilled with it as a lunch spot yet - what I have tried so far (soup) has been tasty, but small portions and pricey....and there isn't much for a veg*n or a gluten-free'er to choose from if that's important to you like it is to me. Hopefully that will evolve. I hope they can make it work for the long haul because it's a great addition to our unique downtown.

“An oasis of happiness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

We were delighted to find this friendly and funky cafe/shop in downtown Chilliwack! Their small lunch menu and selection of baked goods is packed with originality and variety.

The atmosphere is cozy, with a refreshing hipster vibe. While you wait for your order, there's a retail area to explore, which offers a selection nicely designed modern home decor, kitchen gadgets, bath/beaty products and much more.

It is Located on Mill Street in downtown Chilliwack. Mill street is one block long, and is a thriving little enclave of upbeat independant retailers in an otherwise bleak downtown core. Well worth a vist!

“adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Food is adequate - had to send sandwiches back twice as dripping with excess sauce to the point of sogginess...service is bad; slow & when dining with a friend, one or the other got served 10-20 minutes before the other; problems with the debit/credit machine - it quits if placed on the metal counter, but owner refuses to place a mat or something similar on the surface to keep this from happening - it means transactions often have to be done 2-3 times. Hours no posted & sometimes they close early if there are few customers. I won't go back.

“New fav place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

I really like this cafe! Since my first coffee and cinnamon bun a few weeks ago I have been hooked! Frequenting about twice a week ( and I live in abbotsford! Ha!) I have had breakfast, lunch and many baked treats.

First of all, the coffee is amazing. So much better then starbucks. My london fog was just lukewarm and i probably should have said something but maybe if it happens again.

Eggs Benny was delish with perfectly poached eggs, lunch was the yummy brick sandwich and soup. Baked goods have all been amazing. I really enjoy to bake and have a high standard for bakeries. If its not better or at least as good as I can make myself then I am disappointed. Harvest cafe has not disappointed me yet! Muffins, smoked almond cookies, whole wheat doughnuts and cinnamon buns. Oh so good consistently. I am off to breakfast with friends there right now!
