It's been a long time since I had real Korean food, and I was a little leery of just walking into this place, set inca hotel in Alberta, Canada, for goodness' sake. I'm very, very glad I did! So, my experience of Korean food has been really spicy...sometime a bit uncomfortably so. Maybe this is because I always went to eat with Korean friends...and was the only westerner in the house most of the time! Anyway, Namu was nowhere near as spicy as those places in Boston, but it was really yummy. I was really kind of disappointed that they had to include lots of American food to please hotel guests. I had the Soon Du Bu and it was very good. Service was attentive and responsive, and the prices were very reasonable. I would like to have had a bit more spice, esp. on the Kimchi (which was pretty tame, even compared with my homemade stuff). I also somewhat missed the plethora of side dishes & garnishes that I was accustomed to from my Boston forays into Korean food; Namu served some, but not nearly as many or as much as I was used to. Still, if you're in Lethbridge and you have a taste for some slightly unusual Asian fare, you cannot go wrong with Namu.
