I reserved a room on Daysinn.com that had the following description: "2 Queen 1 Bunk Beds Hot Tub Room No smoking;2 Queen Bed Non Smoking Interior Suite with bunk beds, free breakfast and WiFi".
There is no hot tub in this room...it's not even close to the hot tub. You pay quite a bit extra for this room, now granted it does have the 2 queen beds plus the bunk bed, but still I consider it false advertising. I have no idea why they would even put that in the room description since it's completely false!
Now onto the rest of my observations about this place.
The room was dated except for the duvets on the bed and the televison. The ladder going to the top bunk of the bunk bed was loose and wobbly and my son chose to jump off the bed rather than climb down the unsteady ladder. After seeing into some of the other rooms that were being cleaned in the courtyard area I realized this room was bigger than the other ones plus it had windows to the outside. This room had an exterior entrance. The one queen bed jutted so far out that you could barely get a suitcase into the main part of the room. The bathroom was tiny, the tiles around the sink looked dirty and the shower/tub was a weird shape and was quite small. The bathroom was also extremely cold. The room itself was clean. The TV was a nice flat screen with lots of channels but you couldn't see it from both queen beds. We had a really hard time connecting and staying connected to the wifi there which was frustrating.
The pool was wonderful. Clean and warm and the courtyard is really nice looking. The hot tub was working during our visit and it was also really nice and clean. There were also lots of clean towels in the area plus a place to shower off.
The breakfast was pretty good for a days inn breakfast. There was a guy there that made the waffles for you. I didn't think he was very friendly though and he made me feel uncomfortable. They also had bagels, bread, muffins, tater tots, sausage, hard boiled eggs, fruit and cereal. The breakfast area was clean with lots of seating.
The man who checked us out was very nice and friendly. His name was Ted.
