Not great value...$94 each for one hour on the water. Did the Sunwapta River which has mainly class 2 with a bit of Class 3....Class 2 aren't very fun at all, just riding along on a bumpy raft. The outing is expensive to sit in a hot school bus almost an hour each way, plus with all the prep getting gear ready you want a great experience...great experience, yep, pretty darn good with good people, but not even an hour later you are done to sit thorugh another long school bus ride. Class 2/3 is an honest account, and the description of the bus ride is accurate although air conditioned would be nice when it is >30 degrees Celcius. But expected closer to 1.5 hours on the water, not just one hour that went by really fast. I've been on 3 different rafting excursions in BC and all were longer, more exciting and better value. However, my son loved it and I'm sure these folks are as good or better than the other companies doing the same thing in the area. Equipment was in good condition and our guide was knowledgable and tried to get as much fun out of the waves that he could. Next time I'll hold out for a class 3/4 and much longer experience somewhere else. Note, if you are nervous of going, don't be, it is mostly class 2 with only small portions of Class 3 and that isn't that much...there were maybe half a dozen truly good connections with large waves. The Athabasca River Class 2 trips offered will be quite boring I'm sure although much less of a bus ride and less expensive.
So, rafting too short for what you pay and the time you have to sit on a school bus.
