This hotel was ok as a one night stay but if we were to be staying any more than that we would've preferred to be further downtown considering if you don't have a car and it is -20 degrees Celsius it is a $7 cab ride each way every time you want to go to a restaurant, shops or the supermarket in town. We had a very long messy check in process and ended up having to pay an extra $90 for our one night stay. The hotels restaurant is quite expensive however the options on the menu were varied and showed consideration towards dietary requirements. The room was an ok size for 2 people and the bathroom could've used some updating. Overall an average hotel and we most likely won't consider again.

Spent 4 nights in this hotel during the Christmas holidays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and spacious, other reviewers complained about the furniture being dated but I thought it kept with theme of park. (Great to have kettle in the room so that we could make tea that taste like tea and not coffee)The lounge and dining area was very comfortable with great decor. Breakfast was okay, however the Christmas buffet was pretty good. Overall a very pleasant stay.

This hotel is a bit dated yet the room is decent in size and comfortable. It's has a decent indoor pool and hot tub. Pricing is reasonable. There is free underground heated parking and an onsite restaurant. It is within walking distance of the town site but not practical if it's really cold out as it is more than a `15 minute walk.

We felt like we were the only ones around, this time of year it's like a ghost town! Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff have been very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a mini-fridge, coffee pot and kettle. The beds and furniture was very old fashioned complete with oak trimming! LOL the bathroom was also decorated in harvest gold and brown tiles....but they were clean! The pool was open but in a terrible state. It was very dimly lit, water very cold, and the room was not heated. Thank goodness for their sister resort Lobstick Lodge next door - they allowed us to use their pool. I was there with two kids and a pool is a daily MUST have.

Highlight of my stay.....the Restaurant!! You have to have the Wild Mushroom and Chorizo Penne....it was to DIE FOR!!!

I'm writing this on our last night in Jasper before heading down the Icefield Parkway to Lake Louise. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but ample accommodation, very warm and clean. Check in was smooth. Underground heated car park and good location with a 5 minute walk to downtown Jasper.
