“The best in Jasper”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Alpine Village is situated with a beautiful view of the river, and only 2 km. from the main town of Jasper... an easy walk, cycle or drive. There are plenty of great restaurants in town, as well as some fun shopping. We stayed in one of the new cabins; it is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The spacious room included a lovely porch with a view of the forest, and a kitchenette. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And after a good hike, we enjoyed the oversized hot tub in the common area behind the office. We'd definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

Terrific 3 night stay in their "small one room cabin" (number 14). Comfortable, immaculate cabin with convenient and adequate cooking plus outdoor barbecue. Wonderful site across from river; hot tub; beautiful hikes nearby.

Room Tip: small cabin okay for short stay, but very little storage room; would probably recommend paying more...

We booked one of the newer cabins that has two floors and it was very roomy and comfortable. Big modern kitchen and very nice bathrooms. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful and just a ten minute drive into the town of Jasper. The only complaint I have would be not enough closet hanging space for the accommodations. I suppose one does not need to hang T shirts but it was a challenge to organize one's wardrobe on wall hooks. We visited the Fairmont cabins and was so happy to return to our lovely spacious cabin at the Alpine Village. Ours beat the pricey Fairmont both in location and comfort. The Village does not have a restaurant but going into Jasper gives you many options.

Room Tip: Go for the newer cabins.

We stayed for two nights and had a brilliant time! Service was excellent, room superb, we enjoyed the hot tub, cheminee, bed was big (a bit too soft for me)...it was a bit expensive but we enjoyed every minute. Loved the free coffee at the entrance and the cash-pmt-discount!

Just returned from 7 nights. Cabin was perfect. Clean. Had a grizzly bear walk by our deck one morning. Also saw baby elk and mule deer from the cabin. Make sure you specify the exact name of the cabin you want. We did not say the "New" before deluxe cabin so when we arrived they had us in a "Deluxe Cabin" instead of "New Deluxe Cabin". It all worked out but make sure your confirmation letter has the correct name. BTW, loved Jasper and saw bears every day including lots of cubs. Try the road leading to the Marrmot ski resort, not many people and lots of bears.

Room Tip: Ask for the back facing the woods.

Spent two nights in a cabin here in May and loved it. We had one of the cabins on the perimeter of the property and personally I would prefer one of these as they give you a little more sense of privacy. We spent sometime relaxing on the verandah in the sun but mostly we were out and about taking in as much as we could of what Jasper affords (loved Jasper). The cabin itself was well appointed, great bed, friendly staff, and pretty location. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here four nights while we took in some of the sites and hikes around Jasper. The location is great since you can be on your way quickly, in any direction, or in town in five minutes. The cabins, themselves, are neat and tidy. Very comfortable and very quiet. Staff were helpful and gave us some good recommendations. Jasper has so much to offer that we plan to return and we will stay here again.
