“A pace not to miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Glenda and Bob provide a caring, professional service with extras. The room we used was the chickadee room which included a bedroom! lounge and bathroom. Nice touches like lip balm and ear plugs for those affected by the road noise. The 45 minute drive is beautiful and this is were we saw animals most days. Elk, etc.
Bob cooks an amazing breakfast, different each day. Our unbeaten muffin that had been freshly baked were bagged for us to take during the day.
The deck area which is a common area has a magnificent views and Glenda has rugs for you to use when it is cooler. The arrival wine and chocolates were a true bonus.we had our own cuffed machine, microwave and frig.
You are 20 mins from the. Mettle hot springs, we saw a fox on the road.
This is a great B&B. very thorough service and information.

This B&B is a little out of the way, but well worth the extra 30 minute drive from Jasper. They only had 1 night available for us to stay but it was the nicest place we stayed during our 7 night visit to the Canadian Rockies. Bob and Glenda were the perfect hosts -- helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was fantastic!

Hope we'll be able to visit again some day!

Room Tip: We had a little trouble finding the place until we stopped and carefully read Glenda's instructi...

Wyndswept B&B is just outside Jasper Park. When you book you receive from Glenda a detail report on how to go there: listen to her suggestion to take your time to go there because the road from Jasper to Wyndswept is one of the best to spot wildlife: deer, elk, mountain goat, big horn are usually there. We saw also a big wolf in the morning. The B&B is really beautiful and Glenda and Bob are ready for the best welcome you can imagine. They also have a great proposal on how to spend 2 full days in the area and our suggestion is to absolutely proceed with the suggested plan. Everything in our staying was perfect but the thing we will remember forever are the wonderful breakfast of Bob: all the guests together, delicious food and most important Bob showing great pictures of animals and sharing his experience and great knowledge on wildlife. Bob also gives you very good advices on where to spot any kind of animals. Strong suggestion to book 3 nights so that you have at list 2 full days in the area. Thank you Bob and Glenda.

Room Tip: Pocahontas room is the best and it worths to pay extra money for it

Thank you so much for the compliments.

Yes we too think staying three nights and having two full days gives you enough time to see the high lights of one of the largest National parks in Canada.

Jasper national park is almost as big as the country of Switzerland so you need time to get to the gems like Mt Edith Cavell, Maligne lake, Medicine Lake, Maligne Canyon and numerous other special places.

Guests have been oohhing and ahhing over the Hinton Beaverboard walk as a great little walk to do around Maxwell Lake as most people have never witnessed beavers building their dams.

Its become a popular event over the past many years and the secret is coming out about watching the beavers, purchasing cheaper fuel and supplies and eating in great little restaurants at a good price.

Thank you for supporting our two day itinerary which can be found on our website.

Your wolf pictures were awesome. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Robert and I stayed at Wyndswept B & B this past August (2013) for two wonderful days. We had an amazing stay with Glenda and Bob. Our suite was beautiful, very comfortable bed and more than enough space for us. We loved this beautiful home, gardens and views. Bob prepared two (decadent) delicious breakfasts for us, sharing pictures and fun stories about the local wildlife. Our time in Jasper and Folding Mountain Village was far to short. We plan to return to Jasper in a few years and of course stay at Wyndswept!!!!!! Jayne & Robert Mack, Courtice, ON, Canada

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is great and the amount of space offered in the suites is fantastic. The views from the dining terrace and the balcony are amazing and having breakfast looking out on the mountains was brilliant! Glenda and Bob were great hosts and Bob's breakfasts and stories absolutely made our stay! We stayed in many B & Bs on our honeymoon but this was certainly our favourite! Would highly recommend staying there!

We stayed in the Pocahontas room for two nights and felt like honeymooners again after 52 years of marriage. Wyndswept is everything and more that the website describes. The breakfasts prepared by Bob were delicious and presented so beautifully. We were greeted by Glenda with a box of chocolates for my husband's birthday and reservations were made for a birthday dinner at a nearby charming restaurant. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine taking in the fabulous mountain view. This could not have been better for a place for us to enjoy the Jasper area. Bob and Glenda's suggestions for maximizing a two day visit were very helpful.
Wyndswept has to be the best B &B in Alberta!

Again thank you for the kind words. I hoped you enjoyed your chocolates, we always say in high altitude there are less calories in chocolate:) I am happy you enjoyed the world class dining room just three minutes down the road from us, its got great food and is close by with great views like ours.
Thanks for coming.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wyndswept. Incredible view from the Pocohontas room. Glad we had some time to read and enjoy the view from there. Great hospitality from Glenda and Bob, and such a delicious (Celiac-friendly!) breakfast.
