“Our favorite place for Thai food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We recently took my parents to this place and they really enjoyed it. The food is fantastic and you don't have to wait very long after you order. My mother has a food allergy and when we told them they took it very seriously, and caught something that we had missed (One dish had a sauce that would have made her sick if we had shared it) If you're on the west end its definitely worth a visit

“Our New Favourite Thai Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

At the far west end of Edmonton is a hidden gem, and our new favourite Thai restaurant. We heard about Thai Flavours through a coupon offer and, though it’s a little out of the way for us, decided to give it a try. Just off Whitemud Drive, on Guardian Road; the restaurant is unspectacular in its suburban mini-mall location. At about 24 seats, it could be, except for the portrait of Thailand’s president on the wall; any small mom and pop operation.
But it’s truly Thai and what is spectacular is the food and service. It seemed everyone who works there is Thai, and we were greeted with a friendliness you might reserve for your favourite aunt. They’re proud of their food and their culture, and should you ask about visiting Thailand, be prepared for to be sold. I wondered if our server was on commission to the tourism branch.
Oh yes, the food. You won’t be disappointed. We started with the salad roll; stuffed full of perfectly cooked vermicelli, shrimp, carrot and just the right amount of cilantro. Four rolls, with sweet chili and peanut dipping sauce, were just right for the two of us. Our mains; nicely presented in family style, were Panang Curry with chicken, on coconut rice; and a spicy Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. All delicious! For desert we enjoyed the ubiquitous, and well prepared, fried banana with ice cream. After washing it all down with a pair of teas, the bill came to under $50.
Great food, warm, friendly, service at a fair price. What more can you ask?

“Food is great, staff is very friendly - prices to high, atmosphere to low.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2011

Have been here quite a few times because of the great food. Unfortunately the place is more like a fast food restaurant and the prices to high.

“Convenient to eat if you're on the west side”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

I've been here three times. First time, it was super good. Second time was good. Third was okay. The food was very flavourful the first time, I had yellow chicken curry, papaya salad, and tom yum soup. The second time I had the same but I noticed that it was not as good as the first. And now the third time, the portions were a little smaller, about 15% smaller, and the the curry was too runny also tasting bland. The service here is very good because usually we are the only table or there's only one other table so if you are looking for a Thai meal and don't feel like driving cause you are in the west side, this is the place! I would recommend Boualong Laos & Thai Cuisine in Chinatown if you are looking for a more authentic meal.

“Great thai food, reasonable prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2011

This is the second time we've been to Thai Flavours. A small resturant which probably does more take out than dine in as the dining room has only 8 tables. The server suggested items for our kids which were not spicy and were a big hit. We shared the Pad Thai and Green Curry dishes with a side of cocconut rice. The food was amazing, my wife hasn't had many curries and really enjoyed the green curry. Server was not super attentive and we had to go to her to clear up our bill. NOTE** although not noteds on the menu you can do 1/2 orderes of the appetizers.
