“Great food...but long time to get each dish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

We went for a friend's birthday celebration. They were ready for us with a very long table which made visiting a bit difficult, although they were fine with people moving about between dishes. There was not a lot of place to put coats again something they maybe should consider when they are taking a large booking.

Each dish was very good and typical Italian. You can't be impatient in this kind of Italian restaurant as it is the food plus the experience that is important. Server was okay not overly friendly but attentive. The price was reasonable and for our size of group it was a set menu.

I would recommend for a large group as long as they are not impatient diners.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Have you ever had an Italian restaurant not serve enough pasta? Went to a birthday party for 31 people. Not enough food for any course served family style. Ran out of caesar salad asked for more, got more much later . Had 2, 1 inch sausages,2 gherkins & 1 olive, 1 piece of toast with brushetta ,bowl of steamed vegetables,2 spoons of penne pasta with red sauce, & 1/8 of a chicken breast all for $30.00.Six people had no chicken & had to ask for more. They were told the wait would be long & they had to pay extra.
We all kept looking down the line to see who was hogging all the food. Everyone was being polite & everyone had a small plate.
Service was poor at best.
I was there for 3 hours & not even once was asked if I needed a drink. My husband went up to the bar after an hour & got his own beer. Did get refills on my water though.

“Good Food, Friendly Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012 via mobile

Been to this place a few times now for both lunch and dinner. The food is always good with a consistent quality. They have a wide selection of wines. You can't go wrong with the house red. Friendly service - all in all a good experience.

“Best steak I've had in a long time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Appetizers are simple, classic and tasty. They don't fill you up.

I ordered the steak and it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, large enough to take home for the next day and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. The side of gnochi was fried and delicious as well.
