So, don't judge a book by its cover with the Blue Nile. It may look a bit like a crack house, and it is located in a bit of the dodgy part of downtown Edmonton, but it serves up some of the tastiest Ethiopian cuisine. Most of the dishes are served on a mesob (woven tray) on a base of Injera (spongy bread). You eat with your hands and tear off bits of the Injeria to use as your utensils. The food is very eclectic and very well seasoned dishes of veggie, chicken, lamb, and goat available. Try the Ethiopian beer!
The restaurant is fairly small (less than 15 tables) and is authentically decorated. The service was great both times I have been there.
