Two couples ate on a recent Friday night, sampling the ribs and Andouille sausage. Very satisfied smiles and sticky fingers were experienced by all of the individuals. The ribs were pre-cut, reducing some of the usual mess and all of the food was tender and delicious. A real test of barbecue restaurants are their side dishes (especially corn bread and beans). Those who had the sweet potato mash, baked beans, corn bread and Cajun potato salad all commented on the quality and taste of these sides. While one of the couples was from a neighboring province, the local couple is likely to return on a regular basis, especially given the large portions and the reasonable prices. We look forward to sampling many of the other dishes on the menu (e.g., bacon bomb, piggy tails, pig balls, pulled pork poutine, gumbo, brisket, bugers and catfish po`boy). Mmmm.
The atmosphere is quieter earlier in the evening but becomes quite loud (background music and animated diners) by about 19:00 hrs.
