“thank you”

Best Western Cedar Park Inn

Mar 13, 2008

I checked into the cedar park inn, after having a room booked at a diffrent hotel. The hotel i was suppose to stay at had lost my reservstion, and were unable to accomadate me. The staff at the front desk at the cedar park inn, were very heplfull. I was stressed when i arrived and they made me feel realxed and welcomed, they made me feel as if they cared about me. The front office manager, Angela, was great, she was able to answer all of my questions for me, and when i was unable to get my computer to work, she even let me use her office, to print my documents. The shuttle to the airport was a great help.

THe room was clean, and nice. I cant wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the fresh flolowers on the balconeys for the room.

They have won a customer for life.

thank you!!!!
Sandra

“Great location and exceptional staff”

Best Western Cedar Park Inn

Feb 14, 2008

This hotel is at a great location but we found the staff to be exceptional especially un these day and age. When we arrived after our car broke down, the staff was exceptionally helpful.Mind you, it was late and 40 below. Not only did they check me in without fuss, they provide us with a list os mechanics the next day. The room was very clean with all amenities beyond our expectation. In room fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/board and a vey comfortable duvet.

“Dirty”

Best Western Cedar Park Inn

Room was dirty, plain and simple. Mold growing in the bathroom and dust bunnies everywhere. The hotel entrance is nice and gives a false impression. I thought the toilet seat was soiled at first site but turns out to be some sort of nasty stains. I attempted to clean the toilet seat myself with the hotel towels and they turned yellow when wiping them down. Absolutly disgusting. will never stay here again.

When we first arrived to check in..our room was not ready so we had to wait. Then they decided to put us in another room, and thge Air conditioning did not work so we moved to another room. They moved us to a smoking room of which we wanted a non smoking one! This was already 3 strikes against this hotel.
The hotel was extremley noisy in the night, I guess after the clubs closed. It was hard to sleep!
The pool in the basement is apparently salt water. Well kids don't really care for that. It was dark and smelly down there.
The in hotel restaurant was not very good at all.
The only good thing was the free shuttle to the WEM!! The staff were pleasant and the waiting area was nice.
I would not stay there again. Another thing I would not do again is book my hotels thru [--------]. That company is a joke and messed up a few of our plans!!. I will from now on stick with researching and calling hotels on m y own.

“Cedar Park Inn Not Bad”

Best Western Cedar Park Inn

Jun 18, 2003
4/4 found this review helpful

The location is fine -- close to the Whitemud Highway which we used all the time to go east to Elk Island or West to Jasper or north to Edmonton Park and the Westside Mall. It is close to user-friendly Southgate Centre, drug stores, grocery stores, etc. Driving to and from the airport via the adjacent Calgary highway is a breeze. The continental breakfast is a 3.95 credit towards offerings of the Seasons Restaurant downstairs; excellent service, good food, and yes the club breakfast of fruit juice, fruit bits, toast, and coffee is just 3.95. The big hotel has only one elevator! They are refurbishing the reception area in 2003, and it is looking somewhat classy. Rooms are standard, although the ones on the street side are a bit noisy, but beds are firm and comfy. Ice maker is convenient. Coffee makers in rooms come with regular, not decaffeinated, coffee, and two fine tea bags. The parking lot is a bit small (perhaps due to construction) and quite dirty. For the price, the hotel is better than average, and I would probably stay again, but on the back side which is probably a bit quieter.
