As has previously been posted by others this place is expensive but we thought we'd give the Roman room a go. This room was great though smaller than expected. The circular bed was a definite novelty and the jacuzzi was huge but took a long time to fill.
Check in we found was no problem at all as we chose a quiet time to do so. Bags taken up to room quickly and our car was Valet parked for a bargain $8cdn.
Hotel obviously attached to West Edmonton mall which is great for shopping and all the resturants.

The kids like it here and have fun but it is quite expensive to stay here. The rooms are in need of renovations they are showing alot of ware and do not look as nice as in the web site. The last four times we have been here the hotel had issues with the internet/movies/video games this must happen alot because this is too frequent to be a coincedence. No mini bar,and we felt forced out of our rooms at 10am with the cleaning people banging on our door to come in.

“Unique theme rooms, but so expensive!”

We spent one night in the Igloo Room. It is a really neat room but so overpriced. It was just about $400 with tax for one night, bottles of water in the room were an additonal $2.50 each. Two passes were included with the room for either the waterpark or amusement park, their value is about $30 each. There was plenty of towels in the room for use of the jacuzi tub and shower. The tub did take a very long time to fill as the hot water comes out very slow but it is worth the wait. Our room had bunk beds and a queen bed. I can't say I would stay here again, but only because of how expensive it was. The service was friendly and everything was clean, so it was good for a once in a lifetime experience.

We took our 2 children (7,3) for a couple of nights in the Truck luxuary room. A very neat room. Has a truck bed as the main bed plus a bunk bed designed as fire truck with real working red lights. Despite previous reviews saying it was dirty, that certainly was not the case. Rooms and halls were very clean. Hot tub was clean and worked well. Got free pass to the water park and free buffet breakfast for morning. Service at checkin was not bad, room not ready despite it being 4:30 pm but valet was extremely helpful and stored our luggage while we went to mall. All in all not too bad, but 450/night for average service.

“Themed fun at Fantasyland”

We have just stayed 3 nights at the Fantasyland in the African Savannah themed room. Having spent the first week of our holiday enjoying the sceneryaround the Rockies, we thought that the kids(age 12 &8) should have some fun.

The hotel corridors on each floor are themed to match the bedrooms. Ours was lined with palm trees with a volcano greeting you as you came out of the elevators(which were also painted with murals). The bedroom had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. There were bunk beds for the kids, (not all of the themed rooms are family rooms) murals of wild animals on the walls and the best bit...a spa tub filled by a rock waterfall! The fridge in the room also came in very handy.
We all really enjoyed our stay and the themed room just made it a bit more fun.
