Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. The hotel does have that modern feel to it after all the renovations have been done. You are correct we are at an excellent location, close to downtown and the Foothills Hospital. We are glad that you also had the chance to enjoy our complimentary breakfast. Days Inn Calgary Northwest looks forward to seeing you on your next visit to Calgary.

“they should Change for cc and curfew and stoping guests like there a criminal wow”

Ok so I always stay here even before it was days inn I'm a Valuble customer I always have family and friends come to see me kinda ruins the surprise UR family or Friends gets stopped like they did Somthing wrong Mabe they should tell the guest before there is a curfew that's ridiculous and I saw a lot people get declined at front cause you have to put cash on card don't except cash but I just feel uncomrtable been going here for years there policy is not giving them buisness anymore and they have the best rooms I'm just unwelcomed just lost best buisness good luck Thanx

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate hearing comments from our guests. You are correct; there have been many changes since becoming a Days Inn. Along with our extensive renovation, there were also some policy changes. We do require a valid credit card and ID upon check in, guests are always welcome to pay cash or debit upon check out. For the safety and comfort of all guests, a room key is required to access the stairwell and elevator (coming in January). Because of these added security features visitors must be met in the lobby or check in with the front desk. Thank you for your positive comments about the upgraded rooms. I do apologize that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. We strive to make all guests feel welcome, comfortable and safe during their stay with us. “Pleasantly surprised.”

We chose this hotel because it was located close to where we had to go while we were in Calgary. This is an older hotel but has been completely renovated. The place was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with enough variety. I would, highly, recommend this place.

I understand it can be a bit tricky entering the hotel from 16th Avenue, luckily at Days Inn Calgary Northwest we have 2 entrances so you can use the driveway or turn onto 43rd Street NW. Now that you know where to find us, we hope to see you during your next visit to Calgary.

Thank you for your review. We work very hard to make every guest feel welcome, I apologize that you didn’t feel the hospitality we strive to deliver. We are aware of our proximity to the hospitals and the delicate nature of situations our guests are experiencing while staying with us. The front desk agent who checked you in actually went against hotel policy to accommodate your situation, thank you for commenting how helpful she was at check in. For the safety of all guests we must know how many people are staying in each room, in the event of an emergency these numbers are crucial to first responders. My understanding, from my phone conversation with you, is that when you returned back to the hotel, just before 11pm, you decided to have additional guests spend the night. I apologize that our inquiry into the number of people in your room made you feel uncomfortable during your stay. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review.
