Usually head to Globefish for lunch, best to arrive around 11:30 as this little restaurant can get busy and noisy. They have a great selection on their menu, service is attentive. Very small wine selection. You can't go wrong with their sashimi selection, it's a bit pricy but you get a lot. We enjoy the spicy agedashi tofu is one of the best in town, not heavily deep fried. Sometimes you can't get fresh oysters as there not available? Tuna tataki salad is alway fresh and great. Beef udon soup is a disappointment, have tried it several times and find the beef chewy and in large pieces. The dishes are always presented well, just like you expect "art" to be done. Food is always consistent. Not the best sushi, but certainly enough on the menu for a first timer to try something a bit more challenging!
