We have been going to Rajdoot for 5 years now. It's been one of our favorite restaurants in the city. My parents were in town and we wanted to take them to a place that we really liked and thought they would like. We ordered our Samosas to start and about 25 minutes later they were starting to prepare the table for our Entrees. We asked about our samosas and the waiter went back and got them, when we went to bite into them they were cold. We sent them back and they brought us new ones that were hot but not crunchy like normal. After that they brought our Naan bread but only brought one serving. When we mentioned that we had actually ordered two, the waiter argued with us and told us that "no we didn't order two". After that they began to bring out our meals. My Mother in Law and I both ordered 24 and immediately noticed that the Mango Chicken dish had no mango in it. This time the waiter said he'd get the manager, but then later came back and told us that the mangoless food would be free of charge.
The food itself was still really good, it's just the service and wait time for it all doesn't even come close to justifying going there. This is the second time in 3 visits that we've had to wait an extraordinarily long time for our food. In fact the table beside us came in after us, had there food and left before we had gotten ours.If the place was super busy, then I have no problems waiting, but it wasn't that busy. Not cool. Sadly it looks like we are going to be looking for a new regular Indian place to go to.
