“Excellent Dog Show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

Had the opportunity to attend the dog show at this facility. Love the grounds and location of this facility. Well taken care of. Easy to get to once you get out of Calgary. Much better location for this dog show considering some of the past locations they have had.

“An Eventful Park with Business Meeting Facilities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Yeah, a park to honour horses and equestrians. But celebrates the Canadian west and its culture in an elegant fashion. And lots to do and see, especially when an event is on. You need to check the website for activities.

But it also provides excellent conference and meeting facilities. In an interesting out of the way locale. Free parking (that will invite you). We had a very fine time.

Recommended.

“Calgary is so lucky to have such an awesome venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Calgary is so fortunate to have such a venue on their doorstep. We are able to watch top notch international equestrian riders for only $5 entry fee! Where else can you get so much for $5? As well, you get the chance to watch some up and coming equestrian riders as Spruce Meadows offers the opportunity for amateur and junior equestrian riders to compete almost daily for 6 weeks (May to July), allowing them to develop their competitive skills. And then there is the dog show at the beginning of August and the Christmas Trade show.

“One of the Best Venues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Attended a 4-day dog show here. Beautiful facilities and well-groomed grounds. Increasingly dog shows are held at deteriorating fairgrounds with grooming in dark, damp smelly rotting stalls. These facilities were gorgeous and seemed almost new. And the grass was green and well care-for. Food concession was fresh and good but expensive - $3.40 for a bottle of water. The humidity and temperature could be more comfortable but that is my only complaint.
