I stayed for 4 nights, it was a nice clean hotel but to do any type of work using their Wifi is dreadful. The connection speed is worse than dialup, very slow and difficult to do work. Also, this is the first hotel that I have stayed at where you have to pay to use the Business Center. To print or use their computer you have to swipe a credit card.

Great place to stay for pleasure but if you need to do work and use internet this place is not recommended.

I've stayed twice now and one suggestion is to definitely ask for a higher floor room. The rooms on the main floor are a bit stale plus the windows have a lot of bushes in front of them so it's hard to get sunlight in your rooms. Shuttle from the aiport is free and I definitely encourage you to take it there and back to the airport as due to the detour, the cab rides are horrendously expensive. Shuttle back is $5 and first come, first served. Would be nice if they had coffee/tea in the lobby in the evening instead of just in the morning. They only have a Moxie's for meals so if you don't have a car, plan ahead if you can. If you go to Moxie's for the breakfast, ask for a table by the window otherwise it's really dark in the restaurant.

I recently visited the Sandman Calgary Airport Hotels & Suites for 1 night, after having arrived from Amsterdam. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the airport (although the shortest route was closed because of construction works so it took some sightseeing to get there). It is one of a concentration of different hotels at a crossroads.
Unfortunately the surroundings are mainly construction areas and uninspiring. Meaning there is little you can do. No fancy walk or something. Also the hotel doesn't have a bar. But there is a restaurant attached with a terrace.
The room is good, as is the bathroom. But don't expect extra luxury of any sort.
In summary, if you need to stop over for one night before going on, this is a good hotel to stay. But if you need to stay somewhat longer I would advise to look for something downtown.

Close to the Airport this hotel provides business travelers with perfect solution for overnight stay. The staff is courteous .. there is no disturbance of any sorts, room, washrooms were clean had reasonable rates during the time i visited .. and decent breakfast cafe was there as well .
