This tiny little breakfast place is easily missed driving down the street, and perhaps the locals enjoy it that way, cuz when I've gone, there's always a line out the door, or crammed into the foyer waiting for seats.
Went with some friends and left stuffed. Had the Threesome: pancake, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit garnish. My buddy had the soul in a bowl: which is kind of their version of a breakfast poutine- herb potatoes covered with brown butter hollandaise, thick cut bacon lardons (think chunks), and 2 poached eggs... he could not finish it!
The service was fun, a bit sassy, and fun to see a mixed crowd of hipsters, moms and pops, students etc.. enjoying their brekkie/brunch.
Be warned that you may have to wait to be seated, but you'll enjoy the food once you can plant yourself and enjoy.
