Stayed here a week in December 2007.
Hotel is not large at all. I think there are maybe 10 rooms per floor, so it was very quiet. Good sized bathroom with nice showerhead (adjustable). Room also had a microwave and minifridge.
Less than a block from the train system (I didn't use it, though), but nice to know next time. Plenty of parking (covered and uncovered) There was Pub next door and a Mac's convenient store about a block away as well as many ethic restaurants withing 2 blocks walk.
I was very pleased with the service I received. I arrived early, around 12:30 PM I think, and the room was ready for me. I was sure I'd have to hang around for a few hours... Mid stay, my laptop could not connect to the internet (free) in my room. I called the front desk, explained the problem, and the guy actually came up to the room to fix it. No transfers to a foreign helpdesk, no blank "sorry, I can't help you", no wait until the next day for a tech...he actually came up to the room and fixed it after about 2 minutes of tinkering. Normally losing internet access for night would be no real biggie, but I had a lot of work to do that night. What a lifesaver!
Also, I'm not sure if it was because I stayed a week, or because of my priority club membership, but I was given a code to the underground garage to park for the week. There were only around 10 -12 spaces down there, but it felt very secure and wasn't as cold as being outside, even covered parking. I don't think everyone got the code because there were plenty of cars parked in the above ground parking, and still space in the garage. Again, not sure why, but ask and maybe you can park there....
There was a computer with printer in the lobby area so you could print your boarding passes, etc., too.
No onsite restaurant, but there was a continental type breakfast every morning. I thought it advertised hot food, (think sausage, eggs, etc.), but there were only cereals, milk, juice, coffee, pastries and cinnamin rolls, at least the two days I went to see what was there. (the rolls are awesome).
Overall, what I've come to expect from the Holiday Inn "Express" brand. No the Ritz or Four Season by any stretch, but consistent, comfortable, cost effective, and clean.
