I didn't actually stay in this hostel because I wasn't able to stay there. I live in Olds Alberta and wanted to stay at this hostel during a road trip. I booked the room and later read that I was unable to stay there because I didn't have an out of province ID. This is absolutely outrageous. I have stayed at multiple hostels throughout Alberta (Samsun in Banff, The Bear in Canmore, etc). The reasoning behind this is for the safety of the guests? I'm literally baffled by this statement. Apparently Albertans are a danger to your safety...so you probably shouldn't stay at this hostel anyway.
