“Great car museum and well as other exhibits”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Car museum had many old, well restored cars. It was the highlight of the park. The park wasn't too crowded because it was raining which made the outdoor portions a bit muddy. The restaurant had fairly decent food for ones at these types of parks.

fabulous antique street cars, steam train, paddle wheeler and kid friendly rides. Great family dining in old hotel. Bring a wagon or stroller - lots of walking. A fun day for the whole family

“outstanding local history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We loved our summer day at Heritage Park and enjoyed all the rides. The new exhibits are well done and tied in nicely to the rest of the park. This attraction has done a lovely job of updating and expanding while keeping in the tradition of the time period. As always, the bakery is a favourite stop, but we also enjoyed the steam train ride and the paddle boat journey on the Bow River. Heritage Park is a wonderful place to spend a day for fun, for education, for the scenery.

“Great family day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We always visit whenever we have visitors in town, staff are super friendly and helpful and really want to share their history knowledge with you - of particular note is the schoolhouse and jail and the bus driver. Great all round

“Life in the Old West”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

I've visited Heritage Park various times since I was a child, and every time there is something "new" (old) to enjoy. There are lovely old buildings and period-dressed interpreters, a working steam engine and steam boat on the Reservoir. For a special treat, visit around Christmas to see the decorations and craft sale, as well as the caroling at the church and miniature train setup. A great family attraction - my only complaint is the price which makes it prohibitive to visit often, but it's well worth the trip if you haven't seen it. Make sure to plan for a full day!
