“A truely amazing park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We've only explored a few of the areas within Fish Creek, but each spot has been beautiful with lots of birds to view. We've done a bit of geocaching and succesfully found each cache. The terrain is easy for our 3-year old to navigate. We'll definitely be back!

“Nature in the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

This is an amazing park located in the city of Calgary. Many pathways and small paths. No human destruction in the park which is very good and nice to see in a big city. It is a great place for a walk, bike or to just sit by the river and watch birds and beavers and other animals. Great for barbecues too!

“An escape from the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

I've frequently been visiting Fish Creek Park from childhood onward. It has always been an escape from the city, a place where you remember how to breathe. As a child, Fish Creek was always a place for adventures, long bike rides to Annie's for ice cream, and hunts for the beavers in the river. As a teen, it became a retreat, and a place to lounge after final exams, for barbecues and picnics. As an adult, it continues to be one of my favourite Calgary attractions. It's a great location for scenic runs, picnics in the valley, and frequent animal sightings. A highly recommended place to visit and get back in touch with nature.

“Good on WE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Nice park, considering it is within the town. Well kept, organized, you can have you table and make a bbq. Good for running and pleasure biking.

“One of the best features of Calgary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

I love, love, love this park. Every spring, summer, fall I cycle there several times a week. Even after 10 years of it, I never tire of it. Spending an hour there is like going on a mini-vacation. When I have time, I stop in the picnic area right on the river and watch the river go by. The pelicans are an absolute wonder.
