okay i do admit that the price is a little high but if you think about all there is to expiriance it is truly amazing. i dont think alot of people realize the way stampede works. the people in most of the exibits are, for the most part, alberta kids come to share their passion. for example Youth in agiculture in action is a bunch of kids/teens who put together their own bouth (with some parental help) to show the world their passion. most of the shows are home grown and even though there is a carnival like aspect you could get caught up in, i highly recomend you dont forget to expiriance the aggricultural side to it. and if it's getting a little crowded check out th e truly amazing exibits most people don't give a chance or just walk on by because of the more "low key" vibe, or else you may just miss out on what stampede is all about.
i go to stampede every year but skip the high volume high priced carnival side but go to every other exibit. i highly recommend this demonstration of alberta aggriculture
