“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Prepare yourself for a breathtaking hike. Wear good shoes, bring a bottle of water and a snack. Take in the views of Lake Louise, ice and snow falling from the glaciers. We did the hike late september, weather was still great and colours are just changing. Once you get to the Teahouse make sure to order the chocolate cake. Well worth the effort and simply fantastic.

“Unbelievable that this is here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

It's a bit of a trek but worth it to see this teahouse. This teahouse is two stories high and located with a view of the Plain of the six glaciers. Unfortunately for us, the first time we did this was after climbing up the Big Beehive, then came down into the valley and continued on to the tea house. It was a bit too much that time. I have since returned and taken the direct route to it. It is a great place to visit and have a refreshment. Hard to believe that staff have to bring in fresh supplies daily, either in back packs or on horse.

“Worth a walk - rain, hail, snow or sun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Cash only so leave your cards at home, but so so worth it. Coffee, tea and cakes excellent comfort food in the middle of February. Ambience, view and service is outstanding. We walked the 2.4 kilometres from the chateau and it was a very easy walk. Earnt the muffin and walked it off on the way back. Do it.

“WOW!! Well worth the hike!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

We knew there was a tea house at the top of the 7 glacier hike, but we weren't aware that they actually served food which was a pleasant surprise after the hike up there. The food was excellent, we had tea and scones and soup and it was just fantastic. As well as seeing huge avalanches from the balcony of the tea house, the whoule hike and experience of this day is once of the best i've ever had. One of the best hikes i've ever done.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

This is a long day hike and a long way up. You have to go beyond the teahouse up on the scree to see the glaciers and see the and hear parts crash down. There is one spot that is a narrow path that has a huge drop on one side and a lesser drop on the other.
Bring two bottles of water each.
