“Amazing View!”

It takes a small hike from the parking lot up a hill, surrounded by trees (breath in!). When when you get to the viewing platform - it's a Wow moment! This is one of the most magnificent lakes in the Rockies. Beautiful color, very unique. If you are feeling adventurous, the hike from Peyto to Bow Lake is quite amazing - you will need a few hours.

“Good picture-taking place”

Don't miss it! Short drive from the Lake Louise and short hike from the parking lot. Try to make it first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. There is additional trails to reach Bow summit.

“Beautiful lake”

Love the view of this lake...It is a steep climb to get there, but well worth it! The color was just amazing!

This is a must do stop if you are driving on the Icefield Parkway. It is a short (maybe 10 – 15 minute) walk up from the car parking area to the viewpoint which is located high above the lake. The views down on the wonderful coloured lake are stunning.
