Don't miss it! Short drive from the Lake Louise and short hike from the parking lot. Try to make it first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. There is additional trails to reach Bow summit.

Love the view of this lake...It is a steep climb to get there, but well worth it! The color was just amazing!

This is a must do stop if you are driving on the Icefield Parkway. It is a short (maybe 10 – 15 minute) walk up from the car parking area to the viewpoint which is located high above the lake. The views down on the wonderful coloured lake are stunning.

I hesitate to post this review, because I don't want this place to be overrun with visitors. It's just incredibly beautiful. It's a wonderful glacial lake with magnificent views of the valley beyond it. If you can get there early in the morning, like before 9:30 am, on a calm, windless day, the reflections in the lake are stunning.

I also recommend walking the trails that branch off from the viewing platforms.
