We stood and looked at the Falls for a long time taking photographs and then walked along the bank admiring the rush of the water tumbling over the rocks. the water was clear and blue and the Falls are well worth a visit.
The falls are famous. Not for height buy for sheer volume of ice cold blue water that cascades thru the gorge. Really a nice hike and great place for a hot wine or hot Cocoa.
Short walk down from the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. I you take a car there is not much parking. Very beautiful Glacier waterfall and views of the mountains in either winter or summer it is still lovely.
Frozen falls In a winter wonderland, so pretty and quiet too despite it being the Christmas holidays
The fact that the falls are so close to Banff is very appealing. So easy access. Beautiful view, great photos. Worth a visit if in town.
