“Afternoon tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This was something on my bucket list! Although ridiculously expensive ($41.00 per person, before tax and tips), it was a memorable experience.

“What tea”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

We came to this hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday, we planned to have a tea.
What the heck?
The sandwiches were caribou, bison, trout, and watercress with lime, the scone blueberry? What is that, certainly not tea in the additional sense.
My wife and I did experience a wonderfull tea at this hotel eight years ago, traditional tea that is, so we were gutted to find this new idea of what a tea is. We noted that the lounge area dedicated to tea was greatly reduced from our previous visit if this menu is reason maybe they don't want to fuss about doing tea any more,
I did ask a member of staff what this was about, she seemed very embarrassed and explained she had complained to her boss about this but it was new for November and there was no other choice available, except go downstairs to the cafe area.
Not my idea of tea at all.

“Great food with a great view of the mountain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

The food here is really good. The grilled vegetable sandwich was really good. The carrot ginger soup was unbeleivable. The only thing is that it is on the pricing side, but all the restaurants at this hotel are pricy but its worth it!
