This trip should really be called "Geography of Banff Tour"
We did see one Elk this was in the middle of an industrial area.
The rest of the time was spent driving at speed and listening to the
tour guide telling us of his own personnel sighting of bears etc which
happened years ago.
The driver had asked the people on the bus to look for wild life and shout out,
this happened a few times but of course the bus was way down the
road and could not back up. The bus made 3 stops for wild life spotting,
as soon as we were off we were asked to get back on. We have been
travelling around Alaska and Canada by car for the past ten weeks and
realise it is nearly impossible to see wild life from public roads.
To call this a " Wild LIfe Safari " is very misleading and the company should
look into finding a name that describes this tour a bit better. Look for something
else to spend your money on
