Keith was our server tonight and he was exceptional! Gave us a lot of great skiing tips about Sunshine since we were only familiar with Lake Louise. Food was great, served hot and fresh (a rarity in most restaurants). We are a family of 5 with two teenagers and everyone was very pleased with their meal.
The food is the normal Keg fare and the bar has a nice fire place for after skiing. Reservations are required and leave plenty of time. If you miss out though try sitting in the bar.
Went to The Keg for drinks and appetizers yesterday, having patronized many Kegs across Canada. Food and drinks were great but the server was obviously trying to flip our table which made the experience less enjoyable. Went at 4pm to an empty restaurant and we were clear about our intentions of having drinks and appies and would have stayed for another round or two, except our plates were being cleared before we were done eating. I also did not appreciate getting my beer glass with dishwasher water in it ( about 1/4 cup) and then the server giving me attitude when I asked for a new glass. Really?!?

OK - but handy to have within the hotel if you don't feel like going out. Steaks were very tasty. Food standard for what you would expect from a steak restaurant. Not exceptional though but good enough.
