Really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was good and generous portions. Would recommend it to any avid breakfast goer. Really liked the combo.

“The food is the best around, don't pass up the opportunity to eat here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

We ate the chicken tostadas and the signature burger, and it could not have been better. This was the best burger I have ever eaten: caramelized red onions, mushrooms, bacon and aged cheddar with well seasoned beef on an olive bread bed, the blend of flavors was spectacular, and I couldn't stop saying wow after every bite! The tostadas were seasoned very well with delicious toppings. You should definitely eat here!

“It was okay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

The service was good. The breakfast was just okay. Tasted really greasy to me. They also sat us at a table for two in the middle of the room right next to another table for two that was occupied so there was little privacy for conversation.

“Delicioso!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I like Mexican food to start with. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable, the food delicious, and the breakfast rated the best in Banff! Wow!

“Amazing tapas!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

My family and I were staying at the Irwin Mountain Inn, and we had a nice discount at El Toro, so we had to go there for supper. It was definitely worth it! My sister and her boyfriend had the hamburgers, while my mom and I had the tapas. The tapas were marvelous! I particularly liked the fried plantains with guacamole. I would definitely go again.
