“Food was good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The food was good, but pricey, and their signature dish - salmon iwith maple syrup was a bit too sweet. It would have been better glazed with maple syrup instead of swimming in it.
Thje service was a litle less friendly than in some other restaurants in Banff.

“good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

The Maple Leaf is right on the corner in the middle of Banff, and is a great location. The menu has a good diversity for a lunch menu, and the food is always good. The service is usually friendly and professional.

“Better than average”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Lively place on a Friday night. Make sure you book.

Busy on this particular night, so the service wasn't excactly brilliant, but they were all trying hard.
Decent wine list, warm bread to dip whilst you are browsing menu.
Perfectly cooked New York steak with the 3 biggest scallops I've ever seen on the side.
Apple crusted Pork tenderloin was a nice cut served among a killer apple sauce. Very Good.
Creme Brulee and Chocolate & Peanut Butter Fudge cake to finish, all homemade, all delicious, all well presented.

Cost about $140 including drinks and tip for the pair of us.

Better quality food than Earls, Keg type thing.
