We were heading over the pass to Kootenay National Park when we spotted a sign for food. It looked like a great place high in the mountains with clouds hugging the peaks to stop for lunch. It was the restaurant for a group of cabins. The air was heavy with aromatic wood burning in the pot-belly stove. We did not want a huge meal just something to tide us over. We chose the flatbread with salmon and a bison burger. The flatbread was very good and the bison burger was moist and tasty. Usually I find bison to be dry so this made it a winner for me.
