We were fortunate enough to attend the Blue Rodeo Concert on July 6th. What a venue- outstanding....mountains everywhere you look. Million dollar view for a $50 ticket, will come back again and again. Very well run. Thanks Banff Centre for agreat evening.

“Amazing views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Beautiful place. Even if there is nothing going on that you want to see, go and have lunch in the cafeteria. The view will amaze you. Easy walk from town, just one little hill (well, one rather strenuous hill actually), but worth it.

“Add this to your Banff list-"must do"!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

Tucked away high above the Town of Banff on the side of Tunnel Mountain is this extensive attraction/institution. It boasts several theatres, a sporting complex- with pools, weight room, hot tubs and massage services. There are live performances of all aspects of the Arts, from amazing live music to Opera and film presentations. It also is an educational institution that is steeped in history. For decades famous artists of all disciplines have come here to workshop, present, inspire, teach and learn. In addition it plays host to numerous conferences each year as the grounds, venues and layout is ideal for large groups on short or long stays. There is ALWAYS something happening here. In late October each year, the Banff Centre hosts the iconic Banff Mountain Film Festival. It runs over the course of a week and is a rite of passage for all mountain enthusiasts to attend and be inspired by the films, books, crafts and photography. Key note speakers of the past include Aaron Ralston, Sir Edmund Hillary, Nando Parrado and Conrad Anker. If you are in Banff, anytime of year, pay a visit to this inspiring institution, you won't be disappointed. It is a 5 minute drive up from main street or a 20 minute walk. It can also be accessed by public transport. Plenty of food and beverage options and hotel facilities too.

“Never go to a conference here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

Never go to a conference here. If you have any control, never book a conference here. They overbook the rooms and randomly choose conference attendees who have had reservations for months cancel their reservations. They then make up for this by booking people in hotels as far away as possible while still technically in Banff. There are so many better conference locations, so there is no reason to deal with this incompetence.
