Sept 8th (one night)
$90 CAD / night
My boyfriend and I have decided to put this into good/not so good format. We’re both fairly tall, he is 6ft and I’m 5.8” and we’re both 29 years old.

-I had something couriered to this hotel to arrive before we checked in, and when we arrived it was there waiting, so I was very appreciative of that. The girl at reception was very nice!
-The hotel is quaint, it has a little bar area and maybe a small restaurant that we didn’t experience as we arrived later in the evening and were only there for one night.
-Fairly handy location as it’s close to the centre of town
-Free underground parking
Not So Good:
-don’t get me started! We arrive there and they have our booking, but they don’t have the room that I booked (two bedrooms with joining bathroom). We are traveling at the time with my boyfriend’s parents, but thought we would save some money and book a room, with separate bedrooms, but adjoining bathroom. But the room they gave us was the complete opposite. Two bedrooms, you had to go through their room to get to the bathroom. Anyway, we told them about it, and the man at the front desk said, there was nothing he could do. I told him that I if they cannot accommodate our request, than we would prefer a discount on the room or two separate rooms for the same price as I expected to pay for the adjoining bathroom.
-But the hotel duty manager offered nothing, they were very unaccommodating. I had to go down and fight for $20 off our room, unbelievable! They told us they were full, but that was very surprising when they still had their vacancy sign hanging outside the hotel.
-No fridge in the room, but I think there was ice in the ice machine room, but I can’t quite remember
Overall, we would definitely not stay here again as we do not want to give them any of our business again. They were unbelievably unaccommodating for a business that makes their money on customer service.
