“Five Star Price Three Star Customer Expierence, Dangerous Chair”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

1. Clean older hotel
2. 20 minute walk to downtown area
3. Front desk and restaurant staff not professional, likely work ski slopes in winter
4. Style is like an old Best Western Hotel in US
5. Set on a chair in front of hotel that immediately collapsed and reclined with two sharp points sticking in my back, had I not stopped the backward fall would have struck concrete barrier ( picture attached)

we spent our first night of our rocky mountain trip here, and it didn't disappoint us. Very clean room, nice staff, and has a underground parking lot. The location is a little bit far from downtown Banff, but 10 minutes walking is not a tough job. I like it.

Clean hotel on the main drag in Banff but not very interesting. Poor buffet breakfast, limited TV channel selection, old movie selection, slow wifi, no decaf coffee in the room and old water left in the kettle from the last guest.

Room Tip: Upgrade to room with a balcony or a suite with a fire place

My mom booked this hotel and it was great. We stayed in the Cascade Loft Jacuzzi suite. The beds were good and the jacuzzi was great for relaxing after spending the day driving around Banff. The staff was also very friendly.

Stayed 4 nights near the end of our Alaskan/Rockies holiday. Right on the outskirts of town, but this made it nice and quiet. Lovely room with 2 queen beds, fridge, coffeemaker with coffee/milk, and best of all a lovely big bath, the best of our entire holiday. Had breakfast every morning in the Bumpers Restaurant - really reasonable at $16 each for a breakfast buffet with a great selection of hot and cold food, juices/coffee. Took about 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Banff, but you could catch a bus (every 40 mins) if you wanted. Bikes available for a free 2 hour rental, free wifi and an inroom safe. Used the pool/whirlpool every day which had towels available for use. Loved this hotel, and would definitely stay again when we return to Banff in the near future.

Room Tip: We were at the back of the hotel so was quiet, but it is on the outskirts of Banff so not much traff...

This was a very nice hotel within walking distance to downtown Banff. It took about 15 minutes to get to downtown. The room was quite spacious. It was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Our room did not have a view at all which was a bit disappointing, but not essential to our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices at around $15 Canadian per person.

Spent 2 nights here while travelling around Canada. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I only gave 4 because I thought the decor was a little too dark for my taste. The Bumpers restaurant in the hotel was not that good.
