This hotel was fantastic, our rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were big and clean.
A couple of complaints were the carpet in the room and furnishings were pretty old, dirty and very dusty and the pots and pans could not be used without all the food sticking to them. We had to throw breakfast away on day 1, as despite using oil, everything we tried to cook stuck to the pans, so I think the crockery could do with an upgrade. Upon check-out, we waited over 25 minutes, as there was only 1 woman on the reception desk having to deal with guests and it delayed our travels.
This is a great hotel though, so don't by any means be put off staying here by my negative comments, as it was a very comfortable stay and the amenities were great. It is a 20 minute walk to the Main Street in Banff. I would stay again, I think I was just maybe a little too spoilt by the place we stayed in Jasper, so maybe I expected similar.
