“A Little Too Pricey, But Comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

My cousin and I spent one night here in May, and it was very comfortable and lovely, but it was a little bit too pricey for what it was. They put a hold on your credit card, and it ended up costing more than I thought it would. The location is perfect-- right near all of the shops, but when it came down to it, I thought I could have found something comparable for less money if I'd had time to look properly. (We were kind of on a spur of the moment trip...)

“Good place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

stayed there with my girlfriend and my parents. Didn't have a fortune to spend on a hotel. This place has a very nice pool and hot tub. There is a nice patio right next to the pool. The rooms are clean and big enough. We had a nice view on the mountain. The lobby is welcoming and the staff very nice. There is an underground parking. I had breakfast at the restaurant and it was good. Downtown Banff is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. So overall, i'm very satisfied with this hotel.

“Clean, Nice,quiet.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

It was a little out of the core of downtown banff, walking distance to the centre of town, about 5 or 6 blocks. Nice walk though and quiet, good breakfast, cost was about $18 per person/
The hotel was nothing fancy but very decent for the price, Overall Banff is pretty expensive. But worth going there, it is so beautiful , we went in the fall and had great weather.

Room Tip: We booked on line ahead of time, I really shopped around as there were 4 of us and my husband and I...

“So....average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

Nice, standard Banff hotel but for business purposes, wireless was hit and miss! Also, seems to be one of the only hotels on that strip without a decent restaurant attached. Rooms were adequate for the price. Staff were very friendly.

Thank you for your review of our hotel and I am glad to hear that you found our staff friendly and helpful. In regards to your experience with the restaurant, I would like to advise that Tooloulou’s Bistro and Bar has now closed down their operation at the Rundlestone Lodge.

We are very excited to announce that our new restaurant - Bumpers Beef House will be opening in our hotel in mid-December. Bumpers Beef House has been a local’s favorite here in Banff for the past 37 years! Offering a great Salad Bar and a Signature – Prime Rib Dinner, we are confident that your next restaurant experience at the Rundlestone Lodge will be most satisfactory!

Thanks again for your honest feedback as we strive to offer excellence in hospitality.

“Comfortable, friendly and clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

My wife, son and I just had a very nice stay at the Rundlestone. We picked it because we were looking for a room with a separate bedroom for our toddler and the Rundlestone had this for a very reasonable price.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and hottub were well maintained. The only minor complaint would be that it is not that close to downtown Banff so a bit of wakling is required to get there.

I would happily stay at the Rundlestone again. Fancy it is not, but if you're looking for clean, affordable accommodation in Banff then it's a safe bet.
