The most spectacular view, the impeccable service, the lobster capuccino, the elegant surroundings, the wine list. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Rimrock Resort for a week this summer. We ate our breakfast every morning at the Primrose and woke up each morning looking forward to our time and dining there. The views out the window were spectacular, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. It cost about $20 per person but the made to order omelets, to die for fritatas, and the eggs Benedict drew me in. Then there was the fresh fruits, cereals, etc to round it out. One morning I just ordered oatmeal with all the fixings and that was inexpensive and excellent. And I forgot to mention the great wait staff who got to know us, anticipated our coffee and special tea requests, and even made suggestions as to where we might hike next. It was great.

One note about dinner: we did have dinner our first evening there and my wife and I ordered off the special dinners for the evening. Both were excellent and very reasonably priced (similar to the good restaurants in town). The elk and noodles were great and my wife's curry dish was very flavorful and good. The portions were large and filled us up for the evening. And again, the service we received on that first night got our trip off to a good start. We highly recommend this for a romantic evening.

This quiet restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains and an elegant atmosphere. Food and service were both up to our expectations. Definitely a good choice. We were meeting friends that we had not seen in a while and our waiter did not rush us or intrude but was attentive to our needs. Even though it has an elegant atmosphere, casual wear is acceptable.

I haved stayed at the Rimrock annually for conferences. I recently ordered the Prime rib buffet and found the meat poorly cooked. The buffet choices consisted of dry overcooked fish, and chicken with poorly executed BBQ sauce. The quality of the food did not justify the price charged.
I can do prime rib at home much better with any recipe off the internet...and so could most people with a meat thermometer. I would recommend you cook it at home rather than overspend here for poorly cooked food.
