We stayed at Banff Squirrels Nest Bed and Breakfast in the middle of August so the price was expensive but the whole of Banff was even more expensive during this time of the year. The breakfast was decent, the bed was nice, the street was quiet yet not to far from the main centre of town. The downfalls of the Bed and Breakfast was that there was no parking (luckily it is across the street from a school so parking on the street is good when school is out in the summer). Because the Bed and Breakfast is a home as well it does get a bit noisy, also better to lock expensive items in your bag. The locks on the room doors are a bit old fashioned (house locking door knobs), a house keeper must have entered our room, and when exiting did not shut the door properly. Mistakes happen and never assumed anyone would have any malaise to take anything from our room, but it was a little concerning having a door to your room that has your personal belongings was left open while you were out.
Overall good place to stay - reasonable price compared to the rest of Banff, nice location but could work on a few things to get better. I would recommend this place.
