“Doubling Down - Going back within 5 weeks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

My spouse and I found the property on the internet and enjoyed a lovely long weekend there as a base for skiing at Sunshine Village. We had one of the king suites in the coach house. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hosts and staff were "just right" in terms of being friendly and giving us our space. The bed was very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was very nice. We loved that weekend so much that we have booked a full week, and will be returning with our daughters and friend. They were very accommodating in giving us "private adjoining space" so that we could all be together, without being a bother to other guests. I can't wait to get back there.

The easy walk to downtown Banff is along a well-maintained wooded trail, then across the iconic bridge over the Bow River.

Room Tip: Just remember... It's a B&B, not a full service hotel... plan accordingly

Depending on which room you are given this could make a big difference in your stay. Anything on ground level, or above, in the main house seems to be the best. We stayed in a suite across the parking lot, and it was nice, but not worth what we had to pay. With a tiny shower hard to turn around in, no adjustable temperature in the room, and the fact that it was not cleaned during the 3 night stay, it was not ideal. We had to ask for things to be replaced in the room, towels, toilet paper. The clustered parking lot was dangerously icy, which should have been an easy fix. (salt, gravel?)

Breakfast is from 8-930, and when everything is full, it is really good, with nice selection. We showed up at 9, and half of the buffet was empty, every morning we ate. Had to ask the girl to refill things both times. Or they were out of it. And then clear off your own table. Also had to listen to the staff have loud phone conversations all breakfast. Canadians are generally known for being friendly but some staff here are overkill, constantly asking questions every time you walk into the room.
This place is probably best for a couple, looking to get away for the weekend.

Room Tip: Main house, above ground level.

This is a wonderful B&B offering great value for money. Becky runs a quality establishment with a lovely relaxed and fun approach. We felt very much at home here and really enjoyed having access to a comfortable lounge and being able to prepare simple meals. We would not hesitate in recommending this should you be looking to stay in Banff. ps. thanks to Julia who works so hard

What a great little gem! My boyfriend & I very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super friendly & ready to accommodate anything. The room was very comfortable & had a nice romantic feel to it, great for couples. Breakfast was delicious! Stayed in Banff many times, this inn was by far my favorite. We are going to make it a yearly romantic trip.

Banff Boutique Inn was a beautiful place to get away and spend our evenings. Becky and Lee did a fabulous job making us feel welcome; from a tour of the vacinities when we arrived, to the group dinners we enjoyed. Everyone there was great.

The rooms were very clean and cozy. We had a nice gas fireplace in our room with a spectacular view of the mountains.

It was located walking distance to town, making the trips in easy, but out of the way making the landscapes quiet and enjoyable.

I will be going back in July and will certainly be staying here again!

This location is the nicest we've stayed at in Banff when considering customer service, accommodations and cost all together. The ladies running the place were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a good view. Breakfast was a fresh, filling and quiet. The great room is lovely, with a fireplace, games and a small library. The walk to main street was short and easy and there is a museum along the way. Overall a great experience.

Room Tip: They have rooms with shared bathrooms. If you are not into this or not on a steep budget, you can ge...
