We arrived at the banff boutique an hour earlier than advertised and as luck would have it our room was already available. We found the staff very welcoming and thought the tour and explanation of fridges/wifi/parking handy. This 2 night stay formed part of our honeymoon and with room number 9 we had ample privacy and seclusion. This was not our first visit to Banff but we took the advice from the staff and ate at the Bison Restauarant and found it amazing and the discount was very welcome!
We had the large king-size room with whirlpool bath and plenty of seating and all round excellent comfort and space. Our only small issue was that the heating kept the room very warm at night, which is ideal in the mountains in October but warmer than we would normally sleep in. On reflection if it bothered me that much I would have said something.
Should we stay in Banff again, this is the first place we will look to book, you can keep you Banff Springs or Rimrock Hotel.
We have been telling friends, both Canadian and British about this place and hope they all try and visit to.

Our daughter and now son in-law chose the Banff Boutique Inn as the site for their wedding this fall.
While it took some planning to get two families together for one weekend the end result was amazing. We cannot say enough about the hospitality extended by Beckie and staff. Our every need was managed by the minute with graciousness and warmth. We were a group of people ranging in age from 6 to 94 and with that brings many challenges, but none too difficult for Beckie and her staff. The "great room" served as a hospitality room, chapel, dining room and nightclub over the course of the weekend. It was magiacl how the room was tranformed to meet the wedding venue needs. The place was as comfortable as our own homes and that is a testament to the owners management style.

I am lucky to have found this gem in Banff. Stayed for 3 nights with my cousin, and the room we got was perfect for the two of us (first floor, right by the entrance). It had two separate closets, a comfortable queen bed, clean, nicely lit, and amenities provided. We shared a washroom with one other room but it still provided privacy in the way it was designed. Great location, only 5 min from Banff Town, easily walkable, offered free parking and wifi. My favourite part: a hearty and delicious free breakfast in the dining room where we saw a deer while enjoying our meal, and full access to their kitchen to cook anytime! We used the kitchen to make sandwiches for our trails, and for late night snack/tea sessions. They also had a fridge for guests to store their food. Seriously it can not get any better than this for the price they offer.

I also enjoyed access to their cozy lounge with a fireplace, and bookshelves stacked with games and books. This was a great hangout spot for the guests to study, read, or connect with others.

The hostess was very genuine and helpful about directions, activities, food, and any concerns. She gave us a warm welcome and consistently provided great hospitality everyday to ensure we had a good experience here. Loved the artistic and charming vibe of this place, and definitely recommend it. I would much rather stay at this quaint inn rather than a big hotel -- would love to stay in the king suite next time around.

We stayed here two nights, in room 9 out back, and it was perfect. Comfortable, clean and cozy, with a small patio out back to see the elk roam through the woods. Becky was a great host, yummy breakfast spread, and easy and casual come and go atmosphere. Easy walk to downtown as well. Will definitely stay there again!
