“Be aware”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Bring your own coffee. Coffee in room and continental is very bitter, terrible, worst coffee I have ever had. Breakfast had no fruits, granola cereal was stale. The cleaning lady pushed down with bare hands to make room, then used the bag to push down again, then proceeded to make coffee, and clean up cereal spoons never washed her hands. Also the sink in the breakfast room had no soap at the sink where she was working at keeping the are clean. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, except for he extra blankets in cupboard, were smelly.beds and pillows very comfy. I would stay again but would bring my coffee and breakfast. Hit tub was only warm, not hot t enjoy!

Room Tip: Do not stay in a room by the stairs, door slams shut very loud!

“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Stayed three nights in semiprivate room with to queenbeds. Since we where a couple and one of our friends travelling, the semiprivate option made it possible for us to book only one room, instead of two, and therefor cheaper. Nice and clean room, hot tub in the hotel, good location and free parking. The breakfast was simple, and maybe not my kind of breakfast. But, Will stay here again.

“Just OK but......”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Stayed here as 3 couples for a skiing holiday. Booked with Inghams and wanted 3 rooms close to each other. At check in rooms were on different floors and couldn't be changed as hotel was full. We had room 102 which was disgraceful, it was dirty, the bath was very badly stained and discoloured and the mastic around the sink was peeling and mouldy. This room is just around the corner from the reception so was very noisy and we didn't get hardly any sleep. In the morning I complained and the girl on reception was extremely helpful and later that day moved us to 306 which was much nicer. The hotel is just ok but the main problem is that it seems to attract a lot of college students who come to party hard so the hotel is VERY noisy especially on a Friday and Saturday night so sleep is constantly disrupted. On 3 separate occasions we had to complain to reception about the noise and to be fair it was very quickly dealt with. The staff in this hotel are great, it's just a pity that some of the guests couldn't follow their example. If you value a good nights sleep, especially at a weekend then I would suggest going elsewhere.

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor. Marginally quieter.

“Great if your on a budget..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Not bad location and decent enough rooms. Breakfast is definitely lacking (just cereal and plain bagels) but otherwise it's not too bad. Watch out for coupons and promotions... i had a coupon that I was unable to redeem which rreally irritated me. Overall not bad for the price.. Good for a budget ski trip!

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Stayed in Banff for skiing mainly. The staff is very friendly, with good customer service, very accommodating. The room was nice, king bed, with a small belcony.
My only complait would be the pillows. They are BIG and bulky. I think I would bring my own next time.
Breakfast was good for the money. Nothing fancy but I wasn't looking for fancy.

Over all good value for the money. Ski bus right out side the hotel. Perfect
