We do shop around, but always seem to end up at the red carpet inn, because you simply can't beat the price when you consider the amenities. We stayed 2 nights for $163 all in. For that we received, a room with a king bed, use of their hot tub, indoor heated parking, and breakfast. To top it all off, their internet speeds are the fastest we have experienced in a hotel. We have paid more and received less from other hotels and none we set in such beautiful surroundings.

Just back from spending the night in Banff at the Red Carpet Inn. Initially when looking for places to stay I overlooked the hotel because of the 2 star rating. Time was running out for me to book and hotels were booking up fast for the weekend so I read the reviews on The Red Carpet and figured I'd just go ahead and book it.

The purpose of my stay was a girl's getaway with my 10 year old niece. The hotel was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The room was a decent size, as mentioned slightly outdated but that's fine - it was extremely clean and as mentioned in previous reviews the bed was SO comfortable. I haven't had a good night's sleep like that in a very long time!

We stayed on the second floor and could hear people walking around in the room above us but it definitely didn't keep us awake.

We had a room with one king size bed and a balcony which faced the parking lot. Regardless, you're surrounded by mountains so the view was still nice.

The only "odd" thing about the room was the vanity sink being outside of the bathroom but the bathroom in our room also had a pedastol sink. The vanity did have ample counter space for toiletries.

Overall, if you're traveling on a budget I highly recommend this hotel. It's a very good value for your money and just a few blocks away from downtown Banff. I would defintely stay here again.

Every time we go through Banff and need a place to stay we don't shop around we just head for the Red Carpet Inn. A great value excellent rooms and if you want you can sit in the hot tub and look at the mountains. They have heated underground parking for cars so the ski gear does not have to get humped to the room. All our friends don't believe the value till they stay at the Red Carpet Inn. P.S. breakfast is included to boot.

if you are looking for a decent place in Banff that wont break the bank, this place is it. Rooms were tired with some noticeable wear, but were clean. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Location is good within reasonable walking distance to downtown.
